Brain tumors produce symptoms and neurological signs See below to read symptoms in Urdu . These symptoms vary depending on the location of the tumor. Thus, rapidly growing tumors have clinical manifestations much earlier than those tumors having slow growth.

The focal symptoms (local) include seizures, paresis (paralysis), aphasia (difficulty understanding and develop the language), apraxia (inability to perform movements), agnosia (memory impairment), involvement of cranial nerve (brain nerve) etc. These focal symptoms are caused by the tumor mass and also by the peritumoral edema (fluid surrounding the tumor).

General symptoms are attributed to increased intracranial pressure. Intracranial hypertension may be caused by the tumor mass itself by peritumoral edema, obstruction of the flow of CSF (cerebrospinal fluid, wherein the central nervous system is involved), obstruction of cerebral venous system, or by a lock CSF absorption. These general symptoms include mental disorders, headaches, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, generalized seizures and papilledema (fluid in the eye). It is also common to see personality changes, headaches (sometimes night or morning predominance), dizziness and nausea in early stages.

In patients with intracranial hypertension are frequently observed symptoms and signs called false focal location, which are due to displacement of brain tissue from an intracranial compartment to another. The most common symptoms are: apathy (emotional indifference), urinary incontinence and imbalance of gait, unilateral or bilateral paralysis of the sixth cranial nerve, ptosis (drooping of the upper eyelid), mydriasis (pupil dilation),  paralysis of half the body and bilateral Babinski (infant reflex, abnormal in adults, which is fanned toes after being rubbed firmly plant thereof), focal or generalized seizures, and signs of corticospinal involvement .

Other symptoms that can make suspect the presence of a tumor are:

Drowsiness and impaired alertness.
Difficulty swallowing.
Trembling hands.
Weakness, numbness or tingling on one side of the body.
Lack of balance and coordination of movement.
Vertigo.
Alterations of the senses and the ability to perceive certain stimuli (changes in temperature, pain ...).
Loss of bowel control.
Changes in mood, personality and behavior.
Trouble reading or writing.
